The Mig-HealthCare online event

The event was held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, 10:00 – 13:30 CET. It was initially planned to take place in April 2020 in Athens, Greece. However due to the COVID-19 pandemic it was rescheduled and took place virtually.

It was organized by the Institute of Preventive Medicine, Environmental & Occupational Health, Prolepsis, on behalf of the Mig-HealthCare consortium.

Some information about the project

“Mig-HealthCare – Strengthening Community Based Care to minimize health inequalities and improve the integration of vulnerable migrants and refugees into local communities” was a three–year project co-funded by the European Union’s Health Programme (2014-2020). It was coordinated by Prolepsis Institute and was implemented by a 14-member consortium of Universities, national authorities and NGOs from ten countries across Europe.
The overall objective of the project was to improve health care access for vulnerable migrants and refugees, support their inclusion and participation in European communities and reduce health inequalities.

During the event we presented the Mig-HealthCare Roadmap and Toolbox, which is one of the main achievements of the project. We also presented the Interactive Μap developed in collaboration with MyHealth project.
